 The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of a growing finance team in an expanding global business. This provides an opportunity to work in an environment that is fast-paced, complex, and dynamic alongside all levels of the organization offering valuable financial insight to make informed business decisions.

The key responsibilities of this role are to:

  • Develop strong relationships with Global Lockton Re Finance team and other Reinsurance Operations teams to become a valuable business partner.

  • Liaise with U.S. Accounting team that provides the financial accounting and control support to ensure financial statement integrity and alignment with business reporting needs.

  • Prepare accurate and timely management information, including budgets, forecasts, and monthly Finance reporting packs.

  • Have a detailed understanding of the results of the U.S. business and be responsible for tracking company performance by geography and segment including preparing variance analysis for key finance and business leaders. 

  • Work collaboratively with segment leaders and the International finance team in the global forecasting and budgeting processes.

  • Assist in current initiatives to automate our reporting and budgeting capabilities alongside the International Finance team. This includes becoming well-versed in our internal finance systems.

  • Continually seek out process improvements to gain efficiencies and automation.

  • Assist in the creation of ad hoc financial models to support the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, organizational, and analytical skills

  •  Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively work with all levels and various departments of the organization

  • A team player who’s excited to contribute to a growing global business

  • Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
  • Legally able to work in the United States
