Lockton Companies is currently seeking an Intern to provide administrative and technical support to the Total Rewards Consulting team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism; possess the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and the flexibility to easily adapt to changing priorities.  



  • Provide functional support throughout the pre-sale and client services processes 
  • Provide word processing, presentation and spreadsheet expertise for proposals, client presentations, client reports and general correspondence
  • Assist with pre-conference research and post-conference strategic outreach to prospective clients
  • Assist with the development of marketing pieces for client and prospective client industry events 
  • Assist with the planning and execution of client and prospective client industry events 
  • Flexibility and the ability to meet deadlines is required
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure is required
  • Other assignments as required 



  • Learn more about employee benefits brokerage and total rewards consulting services 
  • Gain a wide exposure to various facets of total rewards and employee benefits 


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Business or a related field  
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Proficiency in grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Organizational/time management skills to prioritize demanding workload and meet deadlines
  • Advanced communication skills; verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with Associates and clients at all levels of responsibility
  • Self directed/self starter with an eye for detail
  • Handles confidential information in the best interest of both customer and company
  • Legally able to work in the United States
