Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, insurance or business-related field preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of employee benefits consulting and/or brokerage experience with a focus in integrated disability and leave management a plus
  • Experience in multiple claim processing platforms and technology available in the market including “SaaS”-based solutions, co-sourced integration models and full outsourcing market solutions
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with multiple stakeholders and a proven track record of delivering exceptional client service
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) with advanced ability to manipulate large spreadsheets, census data, benchmarking data, etc.
  • Understands data sources, processes, formulas and output
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage changing priorities as needed
  • Excellent communication, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with proven ability to interact with associates, clients and vendors at all levels of responsibility
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize and scale in a fast-paced environment
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification a plus
  • Ability and willingness to travel to various client sites within and outside of Texas on a limited basis
  • Current Life/Health license preferred
  • Legal right to work in the United States
