Position responsibilities

  • The Account Administrator provides a commercial insurance department/unit with technical and administrative support
  • This individual is responsible for the administration and support of Controlled Insurance Programs (Wrap Ups)
  • Assist in the transition from marketing/binding coverage to project administration
  • Prepare policy/premium summaries and monitor payment plans
  • Review and procure final contracts and policies
  • Set up contract and policy files
  • Responsible for reconciling billings and correcting accounting criticisms
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Position qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in a business-related program preferred, or equivalent education and/or experience required
  • Relevant working knowledge of construction insurance, particularly general liability, and Workers’ Compensation coverages, desired
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel required
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • High aptitude for accuracy in mathematical calculations, along with the ability to compile, analyze, and evaluate data
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours
  • Legally able to work in the United States
