Assist Unit Manager with ensuring that all request types sent to Agency Operations, including, but not limited to Loss Runs, Claims Reporting, Request for Services, and Certificates are processed in an efficient, effective and timely manner while assisting in maintaining and supervising a cohesive team environment. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform the Essential Duties of the Agency Operations Specialist position
  • Master all aspects of the AutoCert system, including NetCert, CertKey and AutoKey.  Master Nexsure features, including, but not limited to invoicing and policy set up. Have an understanding of Client Master, the Request for Services system and ImageRight  Work with IT and other offices to ensure efficiency of this system  
  • Participate in AutoCert Administrator conference calls.  Plan, organize, and execute directives resulting from AutoCert Administrator calls, including testing the system as needed and providing feedback both inside and outside of the unit as needed. Manage records retention
  • Master all aspects of the third-party Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) system. Order and distribute MVR records in accordance with Lockton policies, as well as legal and vendor contract requirements 
  • Understand and maintain dead files. Work with Legal department to retrieve needed information from archived records
  • Assist with monitoring and assigning workload to ensure deadlines are met 
  • Participate in the interviewing and hiring process of new unit associates
  • Assist with training new associates in the unit 
  • Provide Commercial Insurance Department Account Administrators with training on the AutoCert system as well as AOS workflows
  • Provide ongoing training for existing staff with respect to system updates and/or workflow changes, as needed
  • Provide ongoing feedback about unit associates’ performance and may contribute to Associate’s annual performance reviews. Develop and mentor associates in the unit
  • Assist with creating and maintaining an effective team environment and serve as a focal point to communicate and resolve issues with other teams. Assess and evaluate issues from various perspectives
  • Make a positive contribution to customer satisfaction and constantly strive to improve service to the customer
  • Communicate in a positive manner to contribute to a cohesive, pleasant work environment 
  • Protect the confidentiality of information learned by performing the duties of the position
  • Comply with Lockton procedures and policies
  • Responsible for regular and punctual attendance

Non-Essential Duties: 

  • Attend company, department, and staffing meetings as required
  • Attention position-related seminars/classes as required
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related program preferred or equivalent education and/or experience required
  • Two plus years of Account Team Insurance experience or equivalent certifications. Solid understanding of Insurance Service Cycle
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred; experience in a corporate environment desired
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel required
  • Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines required. Must be results-oriented with the ability to change priorities as needed 
  • Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility, along with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Legally able to work in the United States
