BI Developer
- Bachelor's degree in technology, business, or equivalent from an accredited four-year institution
- 4+ years of experience in BI and analytics
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft BI Stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS , SharePoint)
- Experience in the design and build of enterprise data warehouses and related processes
- Familiarity in working with both custom built Data Warehouses and/or predefined Data Warehouse models
- Excellent understanding of data modeling, T-SQL and ETL
- Experience with the Microsoft Analytics Platform and related applications.
- Experience delivering cloud based analytic solutions (e.g. via AWS or Azure)
- Experience working with end users to gather requirements and build technical solutions from concept to implementation
- Experience facilitating meetings with multiple stakeholders, customers, and technical staff, including building consensus and mediating compromises when necessary
- Working knowledge of OLAP and Tabular cube technology
- Knowledge of Metadata Management and Data Governance processes and technologies
- Project Management Experience and proven track record of leading BI and analytics projects
- Advanced analytical and modeling capabilities
- Prior experience in insurance or finance industries.
- Possess knowledge of the inherent challenges for a Data Integration/Business Intelligence Implementations and management of Data Integration/Business Intelligence solutions
- Knowledge of Big Data, HADOOP, and Predictive Analytics technologies is a plus
