  • Facilitates the claim's reporting process between Lockton clients and insurance carriers.

  • Analyzes and reviews insurance claims for accuracy and completeness, obtaining information as necessary.

  • Receives claim information from clients and verify current insurance coverage.

  • Report claim information accurately and promptly to the appropriate insurance carrier on behalf of the client.

  • Enter claim information into Lockton's Applied system for tracking and reporting purposes.

  • Field questions and act on requests concerning claim information in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with Claims Consultants to achieve accurate and timely claim reporting.

  • Proactive in handling daily mail, paying special attention to items requiring immediate attention.

  • Performs other responsibilities and duties as needed. 


  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Knowledge of multi-line commercial property/casualty coverage's and claims.

  • Insurance industry knowledge through experience and/or coursework.

  • Utilization of on-line systems to report and/or retrieve claims documentation.

  • Demonstrated ability to report claim information accurately and promptly to the appropriate insurance carrier on behalf of Lockton clients.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Understands industry trends and governmental regulations

  • Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed

  • Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions

  • Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of Client and company information

  • Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines

  • Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft

  • Ability to use office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, calculator, photocopier, and facsimile machine

  • Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time

  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed

  • Legally able to work in the United States
