Lockton is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter to join our Team!  The Commercial Client Advisor is focused on effective strategic account management, ensuring a successful partnership between Lockton and one of our largest multinational clients.  You will be responsible for translating risk and loss across numerous P&C lines of insurance into solutions through insurance program development, execution of account strategies, and building a long-term advisor relationship with the Client, Producers and Associates.  This is a unique opportunity that will position you to utilize your strong organizational, professional communication, and analytical skills, and will provide you with exposure to a breadth of rewarding experiences within the insurance industry.  If you are looking to join an organization that allows you to be “Uncommonly Independent,” apply today! 


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with Global Insurance Program procurement and maintenance, including analysis of client data, communication of recommendations, vetting the global capabilities of markets, and various aspects of program implementation across 60+ countries.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the client, connecting them to Lockton Account Executives, team leaders, Producers, other Associates and to the Lockton Global Partnership teams engaged around the world regarding renewals, program changes, acquisitions and other events that may impact coverage or require service delivery.
  • Provide Thought Leadership on global risk, staying abreast of current emerging risk topics and seeking out coverage solutions for new and emerging insurable risks.
  • Develop and foster Strategic Relationships with the client, carriers, and internal/external resources, acting as a conduit for information and access to support for their needs and maintaining a deep understanding of the client’s business (corporate objectives, supply chain, customer base, performance KPI’s, competitors, etc.)
  • Deliver Lockton Global Solutions to client through awareness of resources, practice groups and areas of placement specialization offered domestically and abroad.


The most qualified candidate will possess the following skills and/or experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance/Risk Management, International Affairs, or related field.  Equivalent education or work experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of commercial insurance experience, including knowledge of all lines P&C coverages and services – strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in a client servicing role and/or project management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Professional communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of Client/Associates and successfully present data.
  • Ability to quickly understand and utilize industry-specific learning and apply it to the day-to-day operations of the role.
  • Strong organizational skills, including time management and ability to prioritize responsibilities.
  • Ability to operate with patience and understanding to best meet the needs of our Client.
  • Focus on compliance to company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours and travel, as needed.
  • Legally able to work in the United States.
