Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

  • Writing, editing and distributing varied communications for Lockton Clients, including print, electronic, presentations, video etc.
  • Creating and implementing communication strategies that ensure Lockton Clients' employees understand their employee benefit initiatives.
  • Project management of materials through production process (print, video, etc.)
  • Helping to establish best practices and tools for employee benefits communications
  • Coaching other associates on communication principles and practices.

Requirements:

 

  • BA/BS in Corporate Communication, Liberal Arts, English, Business Administration or Marketing.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience specializing in internal and/or organizational communication.
  • Production experience using Adobe Suit, with heavy emphasis on Adobe InDesign.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office products, such as Publisher and PowerPoint.
  • High-level graphic design and marketing communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience with successful development and execution of employee communication strategies.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and planning abilities.
  • Ability to tailor messages to specific constituencies/audiences.
  • Experience working with a wide variety of communication vehicles, including print, electronic, intranet, video, etc.
  • Experience with communication measurement to ensure desired outcome and effectiveness.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage in a rapidly changing environment.

Preferred, but not required:

  • Social Media experience
  • Prior Employee benefits or health insurance experience
  • Proficiency in digital communication technologies to include WordPress, HTML/CSS and acillary web technologies such as Google Analytics.
