The Communications Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of employee communication strategies and materials for Lockton Clients, specifically related to Employee Benefits, Health Care Reform and Wellness Messaging.

 

 

Specific Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

 

  • Preparing and distributing various communications for Lockton clients, to include print, electronic, presentations and videos.
  • Supporting the creation and implementation of communication strategies that ensure Lockton clients employees understand their employee benefit inititatives.
  • Project Management of materials through production process (print, video etc.)

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Corporate Communication, Liberal Arts, English, Business Administration or Marketing.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience specializing in internal and/or organizational communication.
  • Production experience using Adobe InDesign.
  • Experience with Microsoft Publisher and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Graphic Design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tailor messages to specific constituencies and audiences
  • Experience working with a wide variety of communication vehicles to include print, electronic, intranet and video.
  • Ability to work independently and/or with a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage in a rapidly changing environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with Social media
  • Prior Employee Benefits or Health Insurance experience
  • Familiarity with digital communication technologies to include WordPress and HTML/CSS.
