Job Competencies

  • Typing speed of 65 wpm with minimum errors.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize heavy workloads to meet time-sensitive deadlines.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment that is very structured.

  • Ability to understand when to proceed alone and when to involve other Design and Document Services Associates, including Team Lead.

  • Ability to provide limited technical coaching and mentoring to other Content Design Specialists.

  • Demonstrates efficiency in streamlining processes and workflow.

  • Experience in secretarial/administrative services with two years or more in word processing.

  • Ability to use auditory transcriber.

  • Strong working knowledge with using word processing hardware and application software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products.

  • Exemplary aptitude and proven ability for use of English language with regard to sentence structure, punctuation, paragraph formation, grammar, and proofreading skills.

  • Demonstrates ability to understand and execute oral and written instruction.

  • Strong verbal, listening, and interpersonal skills to interact with Associates at all levels of responsibility.

  • Professional and tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives.

  • Ability to communicate professionally with internal clients and develop strong client relationships.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation.

  • Willingness and ability to expand knowledge and effectiveness in the Design and Document Services area by successful completion of extended classes and workshops related to Design and Document Services.
