Position Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or science-related program preferred, or equivalent education an/or experience required.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the insurance industry, with a strong technical knowledge of cyber and technology vertical, including experience in account executive level brokerage services and client management.
• Current insurance license or ability to obtain immediately.
• Strong interpersonal characteristics as evidenced by abilities to develop key market relationships and create rapport internal stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including resolving unusual and complex issues (internal and external issues).
• Proactive, results-oriented individual who is passionate about relationship building, and market relationships.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — the ability to deliver both formal and off-the-cuff sales presentations with credibility, confidence and professional poise.
• Ability to compile, analyze, and interpret claim financial information and data to facilitate decision-making.
• Consistently demonstrates professional, tactful negotiation and persuasion.
• Ability to develop and implement internal controls and procedures to assure the performance of Associates necessary for excellence in customer satisfaction.
• Professional/polished presence to interface with top management of other businesses, representing Lockton in the highest professional manner.
• Solid understanding, acceptance, and promotion of the Lockton culture, remaining consistent with the organization’s philosophies and mission statement.
• Willingness to travel or extend work hours as needed to accomplish assigned tasks.
This position may be eligible for annual discretionary bonus consideration.
