The Account Analyst is a foundational role where the incumbent learns the fundamentals of Employee Benefits. They work closely with Account Managers and Account Executives to execute on the client’s benefits strategy. They coordinate with clients, carriers, and internal teams, and are the first point of contact for client service related issues, carrier/vendor, or billing questions. The Account Analyst plays a critical role related to the renewal cycle, and proactively ensures the process is moving forward in the correct timelines.  The Account Analyst always adheres to Lockton cultural values, and treats fellow associates, clients, and vendors with dignity and respect

What you will do :

Work closely with Account Managers and Account Executives to provide excellent service and support to Lockton clients including the following:  

  • Assist team members in addressing and resolving client issues involving claims, administration, compliance, etc.
  • Assist the Account Manager and Account Executive with client marketing, including preparing requests for proposal, coordinating responses with insurance carriers, and comparing benefits and costs via marketing spreadsheets.
  • Communicate on a professional level with insurance carriers and other vendors to address client issues in a manner that produces optimum results in a timely fashion.
  • Assist with employee-facing communications on behalf of clients, including providing client-specific plan information to the Communications team, proofreading all communication pieces, and creating simple communication pieces via Publisher as necessary.
  • Assume other special duties as requested including but not limited to maintenance of the carrier and vendor master list, providing administrative support for department events, and updating client and internal Associate lists.

  • Record of academic success with a GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • Degrees in Risk Management & Insurance will be given priority consideration, as well as degrees in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or other related analytical Business fields. 
  • Involvement in campus activities or work during college
