EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in business related or healthcare field required or equivalent work experience, with 5+ years’ experience in the Population Health and Well-Being field.  
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced working knowledge of well-being and health management group benefits, services, and programs.
  • Firm understanding of concepts, issues, and overall impact of population health/well-being pricing practices.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret various financial information and data to facilitate decision-making.
  • Proven ability to organize and manage time in order to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated professional, tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives.
  • Insurance industry knowledge through experience and/or course work.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% at times.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and execute oral and written instruction.
  • Consistently demonstrated ability to instill confidence with clients so that client looks to you and to Lockton as more than just an employee benefits consultant, but as a partner in business.
  • Consistently demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with Lockton Associates and clients at all levels of responsibility.
  • Exemplary presentation skills, including preparation and execution.
  • Demonstrated understanding of when to proceed alone and when to involve others.
  • Strong personal presence to interface with top management of other businesses, representing Lockton in the highest professional manner.
