Legal Counsel
Qualifications:
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in California
• At least seven to ten years experience as a practicing attorney. Corporate and/or in-house experience is a plus
as well as general insurance industry experience.
• Experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial contracts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and PDF editing software.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in
writing.
• Skilled at navigating complex and difficult scenarios and providing appropriate guidance with discretion and
good judgment.
• Experience with advising, collaborating with and influencing all levels of an organization.
• Strong organizational skills, including project management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously with quick deadlines.
• This position requires occasional travel.
• Legally able to work in the U.S.
