Education & Experience:

The qualities and potential of candidates are the most important factors in Lockton’s hiring decisions. With this said, the following are general guidelines for educational background and work experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum 15+ years of insurance/business development experience with a solid, successful track record evidencing exceptional levels of sales achievement.
  • Professional accomplishments must demonstrate capability and an affinity for revenue-generating sales activities, along with leadership, building customer relationships and successfully managing the business development process.
  • Direct experience in developing relationships and closing sales with the C-Suite is required.
  • Demonstrated success in serving as a consultative business partner in the sales process, interfacing with and selling products to a broad base of sophisticated business clients.

  • Significant self-starting drive, results-oriented entrepreneur who is passionate about sales, relationship building and business development.
  • Exceptional work ethic focused on revenue producing results.
