EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor degree in business related field, or equivalent education and/or experience required
- At least three years B2B sales experience preferably in a complex transaction environment
- Must be results-driven with the ability to change priorities as needed
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation and to provide solutions to standard and non-standard issues
- Ability to compile, analyze, and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision making
- Ability to communicate professionally both written and verbal, with internal and external clients and to develop strong client relationships
- Proven ability to multi-task, organize and manage time to meet deadlines
- Power user with internet research to include knowledge of LinkedIn and other social media for the purposes of professional networking
- Demonstrated understanding of when to proceed alone and when to involve other Associates
- Able to receive and digest feedback and constructive criticism
- Proven ability to manage and overcome adversity
- Values and ethical approach to business and operates with integrity
- Natural curiosity and willingness to grow and learn
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
- Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility, along with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy
- Willingness to expand knowledge and effectiveness in the insurance industry by successful completion of extended insurance education beyond continuing education requirements for licensing
