Risk Analyst
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, actuarial science, finance, business, or math preferred, or equivalent education and/or experience with emphasis in math, accounting, or finance required
- A minimum of two year's analytical experience preferred
- Completion of 2+ actuarial exams preferred
- General understanding of commercial property and casualty coverages preferred
- Ability to compile, analyze, present, and interpret complex financial and statistical information to facilitate decision making
- Must have strong presentation skills
- Must have the ability to summarize results in written form
- Strong understanding and application of accounting principles and experience in the interpretation of financial statements
- High skill in using computer application software for financial modeling, statistical analysis, spreadsheet calculations, word processing, and other database analyses
- Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines required. Must be results-oriented with the ability to change priorities as needed
- Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility, along with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy
- Strong attention to detail required
- Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft and be away from home more than one day and night
- Legally able to work in the United States
