Software Developer
• Have experience developing web applications
• Have used – even for fun – multiple open source web application development frameworks, languages, and tools (and can talk about pros and cons of each)
• Understand web development tools and concepts like curl, Postman, Git and an ORM. Can explain what CORS is and discuss the pros and cons of Angularjs vs. React, server rendered vs. SPA, etc. Bonus points if you have a favorite text editor.
• Love open source code (like we do!)
• Fit naturally into a fast-paced team that releases multiple times per day (over 700 releases in 2017) and writes automated tests for everything
Requirements
• 2-3 years of web application development experience
• Insurance product knowledge is a bonus but not required
