Lockton Affinity, a division of Lockton Companies, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the HR team in Overland Park.  This role will be responsible for leading our recruiting functions through the full life-cycle of the recruiting process.  This includes partnering with hiring managers to develop creative recruiting methods; sourcing, interviewing, recommending top notch candidates, and negotiation of job offers. The successful candidate will be experienced in the development of strategic recruiting processes including branding, use of social media and other creative sourcing methods. The ideal candidate will have exposure in recruiting for a variety of industries and a wide scope of positions.


DUTIES:

  • Directly source candidates for exempt and non-exempt positions via all major Internet job boards, social media and other relevant sources to attract top talent
  • Develop effective recruitment strategies to attract diverse top candidates for open positions and/or potential future openings
  • Screen, interview and test candidates to ensure that they meet the requirements of the position
  • Collaborate with hiring managers/supervisors on needs analysis, position descriptions, sourcing strategies, interviewing processes and selection
  • Manage and coordinate multiple openings in various stages of the interview process
  • Monitor and report on recruitment results and trends
  • Manage open requisitions, understand job specifications and fill positions in a timely manner
  • Provide managers with tools, resources and training classes to help enhance their recruiting knowledge

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent Human Resources experience
  • 4-7 years of professional recruiting experience, preferably in insurance/finance 
  • Proven ability to utilize multiple sourcing techniques
  • Experience with Taleo or other e-recruiting tools/solutions 
  • Proficient user with Microsoft Products to include Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Proven client management skills; experience at building effective relationships, credibility and rapport with business partners and leaders in a corporate setting
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a group setting
  • Strong ability to be flexible and adapt to constant changing work demands
  • Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of Client and company information
  • Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines
  • Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
  • Legally able to work in the United States
